About Us

Meet the guides

Zach Bruce | Outfitter / Owner

"I started hunting jack rabbits on the fringes of hay fields when I was five. I used an old pump action .22 my dad had. Five hundred rounds in a nights was common between the two of us. My first archery experience was with my dad as well. We hunted a couple of days and what seemed like a thousand miles for an 8 year old. These experiences really cemented a passion of hunting and the outdoors in me. Very few hunting seasons have passed since then that I haven’t been either a hunter or a spectator. In 2010 I had the first opportunity to make my passion my work. I guided/outfitted a few mule deer and elk hunts on a small ranch in eastern Oregon. Five years later, I moved onto a much larger ranch and continued to hunt upland birds, bear, antelope, white tail, mule deer, elk, and even a cougar opportunity every once in awhile. More recently I have started to acquire BLM and National Forest permits and a couple personally leased properties.

Although hunting is my life, it is still 3rd behind my family and my faith. My wife and three kids support my never ending adventures and accompany me on a few every year. We are conservation minded, animal quality minded, and future generations minded. I hope to share a thousand more adventures with many who are like-minded.”

Zarom Bruce | Outfitter

"I have been hunting with my father and older brother, Zach, since I could walk the hills. I was taught the habits of wildlife from a very young age and it has benefited me greatly in personal hunts and in guiding countless clients. I have been a professional guide since 2015 and a Registered Oregon Outfitter since 2018. My main hobby is getting outdoors and doing a number of activities, such as shed hunting, long range shooting and big game/predator hunting. I am a father of three; two daughters and a son."

Nathan Styffe | Outfitter

"I’ve been guiding hunting and fly fishing in Central Oregon since 2014. I work hard to make each trip a smooth and memorable experience for guests by taking care of the important details and putting in the time to find the animal you’re looking for. My clients have ranged from first-time youth-hunters to military snipers and avid outdoorsmen, so no matter your experience level, I’m prepared to make it a great hunt and get my guests the shot opportunity they need to be successful.

Hunting is a huge passion of mine. Whether it’s archery or rifle hunting, birds or big-game, I’m all in. When I can’t be guiding or hunting, I’m prepping for season by building long-range shooting systems for customers, shooting my bow, or spending time with my wife and son."

David Parsons | Outfitter

“I’ve been obsessed with animals and the outdoors for as long as I remember, and that obsession only continued to grow as I began hunting. Whether I have a bow in my hand calling in bugling bulls, or dialing in a rifle scope for a long range shot, you’ll see me doing it with a smile on my face. Just this last year I was able to take that passion, and translate that into helping others on their own adventures as a guide.

I’m committed to making each experience as memorable and fun as I can, in any way possible. While hunting season only last a few months out of the year, I spend all 12 months planning and preparing so I can make each hunt the most memorable experience possible. In the offseason you can find me climbing hills looking to scoop up sheds and scout, wading in a river as a fly fishing guide, and spending as much time with family and friends as I can.”
